DaySpring Daily Word of Inspiration: Proverbs 11:2 – When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.

Today’s passage is simple and pretty straightforward. I won’t belabor the point by making this a drawn out explanation of what the scripture is trying to convey to us. However, I will concentrate on the application that it has for you and I in our daily lives.

DaySpring Daily Word of Inspiration: Ephesians 4:26-27 – “In your anger do not sin”; Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and don not give the devil a foothold.

How do you react when someone messes over you? How do you treat them after the fact? Do you ever truly get over that hurt and if not, why not?

DaySpring Daily Word of Inspiration: Habakkuk 3:17-18 – Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.

DaySpring Daily Word of Inspiration: Psalm 40:8 – I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart.

What does it all comes down to in the end anyways? What is it that we want from this life and how can we make the best of what we currently have? Our passions are deep and our motivations are wide ranging. The prize is in the journey for we all have to take it.

DaySpring Daily Word of Inspiration: Isaiah 1:16-17 – Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.
