Titus 2:11

DaySpring Daily Word of Inspiration: Titus 2:11 – For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.

We know God is God. We’ve seen his faithful acts and heart towards us. We show our love back to him in obedience and keeping his commands. We make deliberate efforts to be in his will. Then we are continually built up by seeking out his word and applying its principles to our lives. An altered life that is unquestionably different than whatever you had planned. A life of faith, a surrendered existence and for what reason; simply because we have come to know an absolute truth….

When Jesus Christ came to this world, the absolute grace, mercy, and love of God was given to the world for the hope of every single person on this planet. The plan for salvation was set into motion and Christ’s submission to the Father resulted in God’s will being done in providing the reconciliation for man back unto God. God’s purpose in us being saved is to recognize his grace that appeared in Jesus. Until we can truly comprehend this fact, we are left as wanderers in this life; never being filled with direct purpose, never being content, and having distortions of the truth that are not in-line with God’s principles, hence never producing the faithful attributes in us that God desire nor unlocking the power of God’s promises in our lives.

Today we have a simple question that doesn’t need much interpretation; have you recognized that God’s grace has appeared? Will you accept his sacrifice as the atonement for your sins? What does knowing this truth generate as a reaction in you? As the scripture would point to, it isn’t just for you or me, but for everyone. It’s our job to make this truth known to all. If God is God in your life and your focus is to deliberately advance the cause of Christ in your life and the lives of others, your recognition of God’s grace on earth will make doing this life of faithful commitment to God your sole purpose. The reason we do it is because Jesus Christ came. Isn’t that enough? We pray it’s enough to move you – if nothing else. In Jesus’ name, AMEN!
