DaySpring Daily Word of Inspiration: Galatians 3:26-28 – So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
We as Christians have taken up the oneness that is God. Although we are different in all aspects of our human nature, once we are clothed in Christ, we are transformed. There should be no difference in our fellowship, love, and likeness. The lines have been blurred and are no longer.
Every day we are faced with the stereotypes of Christian religion and the misinterpretations that others have. One of the ways we can help to further our cause is to not be the cause of any division. We are all one in Christ. We shouldn’t be bashing other churches for not teaching God’s word correctly. How about being a helper and showing each other our mistakes so that we can all be on the same page; of one accord (Phil. 2:2). We are in the same fight together. When was the last time you saw a person in war say to his comrades, “Everyone, I’m going to go this way because I feel it is best and you guys can do what you want”. This would never happen! As soldiers in God’s army we all have to be on one accord. If we accept separate agendas, we will in turn accept defeat.
The phrase “United we stand, divided we fall”, is a statement that is looked at widely as the spirit of our nation. I submit to you all today, this should be the spirit of all believers.
Today we want to join you in taking a moment to figure out how we can get back into the fight and work with Team Jesus to get the job done. Remember you have other soldiers right on your side ready and willing to fight with you…….even until the death. We’re on the same team. What are you going to do in this life to show God you are a part of His team?
