Ephesians 3:20-21

DaySpring Daily Word of Inspiration:  Ephesians 3:20-21 – Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Today we have a simple focus and idea: what power is at work within you? This is a very poignant question because it’s a set-up to bring us into a real, rich, reality of where we truly stand in unleashing God’s supremacy in our lives.

As we meditate on our responses, let us consider what this scripture would have us really examine; that being our faith. If we say that our faith is rooted, secure, and unshakable in Christ – what is the power He possesses doing in your life? If we truly believe that he has all power, are you walking through this life empowered? By having our faith saturated in Christ, the presence of God is what produces powerful, miracle working results. Our lives should be shining with the attributes and byproduct of things that we’d never thought were possible to feel, do, or experience. Simply because we are being engulfed by the power of Him who is able to do astronomically more that we could ever conceive! It is said and even seen throughout the bible that no miracle happens and then God kind of finds out and then appears. NO!! It is when God appears, there is power finally available to make a miracle happen. If you’re experiencing anything that seems unreal, unfathomable, or unknown but it is exciting and eye-opening, you may just have the power of God working within you because he has simple shown up! This is absolutely your opportunity to give God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ praise and glorify his name in worship – for he has shown up and is allowing his power to work in your life.

 

We want you to experience this power but it only happens when God shows up as we have Jesus living inside of us. There are other powers that can be at work in your life, but only one deserves to be lifted up via our praise in reverence of what He has done, will do, and is doing in our lives; for it is the only power that wills and hopes for us to live better more engaged lives with God. That is the power of Jesus Christ! Is it in you? Today we pray that it is and that as God reveals it to you, it pours from within you so you experience life with Jesus in ways you’d never imagined and you give him praise, honor, and glory for what He has done through you. In Jesus’ name, AMEN!
