Acts 2:36

DaySpring Daily Word of Inspiration:  Acts 2:36 – “Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.”

What a week! It has been an eye opening and very convicting time for me and I pray that the Word of God has touched and impacted you as well. From understanding God’s will, to who his promises are for, to what our role in serving God is, and why acknowledging Jesus as the Son of God ultimately connects us to the Father; not just in the life to come but even now! It has been a journey. Today we reach the crescendo of this week’s focus and put everything we’ve learned under the umbrella of truth, purpose, and God’s will.

As the scripture reflects, the announcement has been made. It is our time to now listen and react based on the truth; the truth of this life. We were created by God (that is you and I), sin came into this world through the lineage of man, man was separated from the perfection of God, but God loved us so much he created a plan to reconcile us back to him (at least all those who would choose Him). God created Jesus – not through the blood line of man because mankind’s blood line was tainted with the nature of sin, but through a virgin. And so Jesus was made to be the Messiah; the Savior of all and the one we should bow to in submission, obedience and honor as our Lord because of God’s love, grace and mercy that was shown through him. The crucifixion of Christ was predestined, prophesied, and purposed for mankind. It was God’s will! It has been done.

Now, as we begin our weekends let us reflect over this series of scripture, information, and application that encapsulates the reality of the world we live in. God has a plan for us all. In the grand scheme of things, it all comes down to whether or not you’re going to accept God’s plan and his way back into a relationship with him or will you continue to live separated by the very sin that separated us from him in the beginning. The choice is yours, however we pray that you see this week’s devotionals as a guide to getting onto God’s plan while living with the hope, freedom, faith, and commitment that produces his blessings in your life, security of his promises, and a life that resembles Jesus Christ himself; This is the good and pleasing will of the Father. Do you want to be in his will? May God flood your heart with a genuine desire to be redeemed to him, the way he would have you. Jesus is real and He is the key. Love and acknowledge the one God sent, it is the only way; it is God’s way. Have a blessed day. In Jesus’ name, AMEN!
