April Newsletter 2015 “IT is FINISHED”
The finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross should be a continual encouragement for Christian men and women. The work of redemption was finished by Christ on the cross.

December 2014  “Christmas, A Savior is Born”

Christmas is the day Christians commemorate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. Though the exact date of Jesus’ birth is not known, we use this day to honor his birth. Yet we may participate in secular traditions of gift giving and seasonal decorations, we must make honoring our Lord’s birth the first priority. Let’s remember the true reason for the season, celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and spread His Good News.

November 2014 “Thankfulness & Contentment”

We do not thank God enough. Our thanks to God should be continual and  heartfelt, and although we can use the holidays to remind us to step up our thanks to God, we should always be thankful to God each and every day. Let’s rejuvenate our spirit of thanksgiving and be reminded to have gratitude and contentment no matter the circumstances.

 October 2014 “Accountability”

We generally do not like the word accountability. It seems to imply that we must  answer to someone else, which strips us of our independence. But, accountability is a blessing, not a burden. Read this month’s newsletter to discover some benefits of being accountable to others.

September 2014 “Hungering & Thirsting For God”

Many of us are suffering from spiritual malnutrition because we aren’t feeding our spirit what it needs and longs for…the intimacy with God and His Word. Let’s learn how to satisfy our hunger and spiritual thirst.

August 2014 “Restoration”

Ever find yourself drifting away from God? Your not as passionate about the Word, going to church, serving in ministry, and just feel disconnected from the Lord? This month’s newsletter offers us hope and some instructions to help restore our relationship with God.

 July 2014 “Truth & Freedom”

Jesus tells us that the truth will set us free (John 8:32). This month we’ll explore truth and freedom.

 June 2014 “A Pastor, A Shepherd”

We are fortunate to have such a dynamic Pastor. As a good shepherd, he leads, protects, and feeds us. In celebration of our Pastor’s 3-years in ministry, we’ve dedicated this month’s newsletter to explaining the role of a great Pastor. Hope you enjoy the featured article titled, the “Portrait of a Pastor”.

May 2014  “Month for the Mother”

This month we take a moment to recognize, honor, and give thanks to women who have a heart of gold and desire to make God the author and perfecter of all they do. A mother’s job is never done, however when coupled with godly actions, direction, and adoration, they help to produce a life long generation of Christ lovers and followers. Be encouraged to have a mother in your life and let them all be blessed as they are directed by God for the strengthening of a godly people.

March 2014 “Serving”

If you’re not doing it, someone is doing it for you. Serving is seen as a act of weakness and can be frowned upon. However, when we have a spiritual prospective of its importance, we see how Christ served us in perfection. This humbling truth inspires us to be better servants based on such a perfect example. This month’s newletter will prayerfully put serving in a whole new light and have you eager to do it more often.

February 2014 “Focusing In On The Goal”

As we turn the page onto a new month in 2014 we look back at our beginning and start to tighten the reigns on future by focusing in on what we set out to accomplish this year. This month’s newsletter is all about that; staying on track to reach our goals in Christ in 2014.

January 2014 “New Year, New You”

Happy New Year! As we set off to accomplish our 2014 goals and resolutions, let’s remember to put “being more Christlike” at the top of our list. Let’s seek to have His mindset, His heart, His character. How you ask? Read this month’s newsletter to find out how.

December 2013 “The Season of Giving”

It’s that time of year again! However it’s that time of year everyday we wake up. We have been given multiple gifts from God on a daily basis. Although this may be the time of season when we most think about giving gifts, we should consider those we’ve received throughout the year. Let’s see what God’s gifts look like.

November 2013 “AM I A CHURCH MEMBER?”

A church member is not simply a person who attends church. Rather being a member of a church, means that you are an active, working member of the Body of Christ. That is, each member has his/her part to do, in order that the whole Body (church) functions properly. Are you a Biblical church member?

October 2013 “Thankfulness & Praise”

In spite of what we are going through and what obstacles come our way, we are to always give thanks. Let’s focus on what God HAS done for us, not our lack or what we need.

September 2013 “Power of Prayer & Fellowship”

We are not meant to live this Christian life alone.  We need each other’s prayers, physical touch, encouragement, and even accountability.

August 2013 “Healthy Living, Church & YOU”

Healthiness is not limited to physical health; rather it encompasses mental and spiritual health as well.  The goal is to become healthier Christians in all areas of our lives.

July 2013 “Stewardship”

God owns everything we have.  We are simply a steward (manager) of what God has entrusted to us.  How well are we managing God’s time, money, and temple (our physical body)?
